La Taverna is located in Cima di Porlezza, in the heart of the historic village, overlooking the shores of Lake Lugano, just a few minutes from the Swiss border. Our lakeside terrace offers a breathtaking view, making every dining experience even more memorable.
In an elegant and relaxed atmosphere, we serve a cuisine that combines tradition with variety. Our menu ranges from local freshwater fish and Mediterranean seafood to premium meat dishes and vegetarian specialties, all prepared with carefully selected fresh ingredients. Upon request, we are also pleased to offer gluten-free options.
Since 2008, La Taverna has been passionately managed by our chef, whose cuisine reflects dedication, craftsmanship and attention to every detail. Together with our attentive front-of-house team, we are committed to providing every guest with a warm welcome, refined service and an authentic dining experience in an elegant setting.
